Halloween Party !!

Halloween Party !!

Come and join us at our Halloween Party on Thursday 26th October 2017 from 6pm - 8pm.

There will be refreshments for sale, disco, fancy dress and prizes for the best fancy dress!

This is a free event but you will need a ticket which you can collect from our offices!

Langwith and Whaley Thorns Village Hall, Portland Rd, Langwith.

We will be holding a Christmas Market too!!

REQUEST FOR PEDESTRIAN CROSSING TURNED DOWN!!!

The Parish Council has asked that Derbyshire County Council place a pedestrian crossing on the A632 at the bottom of Dale Close. The Bus stop is on a blind corner and it is extremely unsafe for people of all ages to cross the busy road.

Re-location of Skate Park

The members of Langwith Parish Council have had to consider relocating the Skate Park situated on Main Street to make way for the construction of the new Medical Centre. Members have decided to re-site the existing ramps onto the Portland Road Recreation Ground were a new purpose built base will be laid.
