The Electoral Commission - Voter ID Guide

The UK Government has introduced a requirement for voters to show photo ID when voting at a polling station at some elections. This new requirement will apply for the first time in England at the local elections on Thursday 4 May 2023.

The Electoral Commission has created a guide on the introduction of Voter ID.

Freedom Foundation - Release Holiday Club

Freedom Foundation are hosting the Release Holiday Club at Whaley Thorns & Langwith Village hall on the following days:

3rd January 2023 - 10AM till 2PM
4th January 2023 - 9AM till 1PM
5th January 2023 - 10AM till 2PM
6th January 2023 - 10AM till 2PM

The holiday club is for children aged 7-11 (Years 3-6) and are encouraged to attend all 4 days
